Happy Teaching Tuesday everyone! I'm afraid to say I'm a little behind in my lesson plan as I had to supper cuddle Mom last night. She came home needing cuddles so I was elected to give them to her. Anyway, I'll be back on track next week. But for now, let me show you the homework assignments that you've been handing in. It seems like everyone has this Snoopervisory stuff down REALLY well.
Meet Rocky from www.lacylulu.blogspot.com . Look at that technique, and use of stationary objects (the chair). Well done Rocky!
And Mona, of Mona and the Mommy Fame. Great job of snoopervising with the old IN YOUR FACE technique. You're getting a head of the class, that's an advanced lesson!
This is Mariah, one of Chloe Shar Pei's roommates/sister/daughter, I'm not sure of the relationship and a gentleman pei doesn't ask you know. The technique she's using is unique to Shar Pei's. You really can't see her eyes but she's looking right at you! Well done Mariah!
And the great tandem Snoopervising as demonstrated by the Great Mango Relentlessly Huge and Dexter "Pee-Wee" in the Dark. That's a tough manouver guys, and you make it look so easy.
This is Dakota, another of Chloe's sibs/roommates/children. This is a variation on Mariah's technique from earlier. You can see Dakota's eyes, but you think they're looking forward. They're not! They're watching YOU! This technique is not just a Shar Pei technique. I've seen other doggies use this one as well. Nice job Dakota!
And then there's me! I've learned from experience that I shouldn't leave you without a picture of myself. My Nose Fan Club just gets upset.
Oh, as an adendum to yesterday's post and comments, my pal Dozer said with all my bling I should be getting lots of "gurls". Well, I'm sorry ladies, I can be your friend, your buddy, you pal, but I can't be your sweetheart. My heart belongs to Mom.

Monday Morning Report
Happy Monday Morning. Or as happy as it can be. It's raining here so I'm kind of blah. Dad did take me for a nice walk this morning while Mom went to get subs.
I had a fairly busy weekend, as I'm sure we all did. A lot of snoopervising was done by me, but there were also a few adventures. One of them was to BOTH pet stores on Saturday morning. See, Mom and I read that Dozer got some bling. I'm not sure what bling is but Mom apparently knows and she found some for me! (Check out the new poop bag holder behind it too!)
What do you think? It's on my leash right now, which I'm ok with, I mean, I don't want to ruin my handsome cuteness with too much bling now do I? Of course not!
There's a better look at the bling. Except Mom, the Shar Pei is out of focus!
Here's a better looking Shar Pei anyway. Pei laughter.
That's about all the excitement for now. DId I mention it was raining? Yeah. OH, and I guess I don't need to introduce you all to A/C (see Friday's Post) it seems you all know him! Pei Laughter.
Sniff ya later!
Pei-Ess - I want to wish my good friend Tom, and his two sisters Tama-chan and Sei-chan a happy blogoversay!

Bolo's Friday Weather Report and Other Adventures
It's hot and sunny today. I'm staying inside. Mom and Dad have what they call A/C. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm going to stay inside with it. Maybe try and find it and be friends with it. Because I'm just that kind of pei.
No major adventures yet this morning, although I heard Mom and Dad planning one for me tomorrow.
For now, let's all grab a nap and wait for cooler weather. Maybe I can introduce you all to my new friend A/C by then.

Thankful Thursday!
First of all, I'd like to thank Chloe at Pei All The Wei for this lovely award! If you haven't met her yet, she's a Shar Pei who lives with her Mom and Dad and 5 OTHER SHAR PEIS! Can you imagine the cuteness in that house?!?!?!
Apparently there are rules to this award:
Post it to the blog and link to who gave it to you.
Lucky me! Now we're at home cooling off a little bit. It's a little warmer than we like it outside. I think I'll nap today and dream about more Noseventures!

Choose 5 life situations that could be repeated in slow motion and explain why.
List twelve blogs and let them know you've given them the award.
OK, yeah yeah, whatever. So, 5 life situations which could be repeated in slow motion:
OK, something else to be thankful for! Thank you MOM for taking me on a nose adventure this morning! A NOSEVENTURE! What do you think? Does it work?
So Mom said we were tkaing Daddy to work but he wasn't in the car with us. We stopped at the yummy smelling donut place and I watched Mommy get coffee and donuts, still no Daddy. Then we went to Daddy's office and THERE HE WAS! Not really sure how that happened. (Mom here, Dad rode his bike to work and we brought him breakfast. Is that love or what?) Get your own blog Mom! Sheesh. So we gave Daddy his breakfast and the donuts for his friends and Mom let me sniff around. We saw a HUGE squirrel sitting just outside his hole in the ground! (Mom: Groundhog, not squirrel) MOM! Sheesh. So I got to do this:

- Nose kisses - to Mom or Dad or Grandma, Grandad, Uncle Marty, Uncle Brett, whoever really, I know they'll all appreciate nose kisses from me.
- Visiting friends! I haven't met any of you but I think that's something that could be done in slow motion! Can you imagine all the pei-ness if Chloe and her family, ViVi, Laney and I were all in the same room? It would be a cute overload!
- Adventures. They're fun in fast forward too.
- Cuddle Sandwiches - These are best done at slow speed so everyone can appriciate them more, especially the person in the middle - which is usually me! Pei laughter.
- I can't think of a number 5. Sigh. OH! Snoopervising! I can snoopervise in slow motion!

Teaching Tuesday!
I'm almost too exhaustipeitated to write. I had such a good time at Day Camp yesterday and they gave me so many walks and cuddles and snuffles it was tough just to come home. Then this morning Mom and I drove Dad to work and then walked him to another building to give a presentation. It'll be a great presentation because I gave him a pep talk the whole way there!
OK, back to Teaching Tuesday! (Look Tom, I put the right day of the week today!) This is where I teach how to be a great snoopervisor. I'd like to thank Dakota, Mariah and Mona for sending in some GREAT snoopervisor-ing pictures of themselves.
So, here's Lesson 2. Lesson 1, for those who forgot, was to pay close attention and watch everyone. Lesson 2, be prepared to go out of your way to watch. Especially your people, they seem to get into the most interesting places. Here are a few examples.
Ok! Optional Homework! Send your pics to bolo(at)magma(dot)ca if you're in an interesting position watching something!
Now excuse me, I have to nap to have enough energy for my morning snooze.

Monday Morning Report
I have to write an early report because Mom says we have to get a wiggle on this morning. I dont' know about you, but I'm always wiggly.
So you know that we went to Great-Gran's on Saturday night to celebrate Father's Day. Well, I wasn't the only puppy there. You remember my cousin Tia right? The mini-Schnauzer?
Yeah, she'd had a busy day snoopervising a garage sale.
Also there was a cousin I had never met before. He's old and in a bit of pain so I wasn't allowed to play with him, but this is Stokey. Also a mini-Schnauzer.
So I was a good boy and stayed in my kennel during supper and then outside with Dad and Grandpaw after supper. It wasn't all about sitting quietly though. I did have to take Granny for a walk.
We invited Tia too and Stokey went out as well (Mom just didn't get a picture of it.) When we came back from our walk, I went over to see Mom who was sitting next to Great-Gran and I started to get up on the sofa. Mom and Dad had to laugh at me because I was standing with my front feet on the backrest and my back feet on the seat cushion. Mom stood up to get a better look at me and I jumped down and curled up on her spot! Dad and I were laughing so hard! Mom gave me a kiss and let me stay there next to my Great-Gran. Well hey! Everyone else had a chance to sit next to her, I wanted one too!
I came home exhaustipeited. Then on Sunday, I cuddled Mommy ALL DAY. We even napped together. It was beautiful. Mom says I'm a HUGE cuddle Pig. HUGE.
I heard there was more excitement for today! Mom's not ready to leave the house yet, but she grabbed up my lunchbox to fill it! You know what that means! DAY CAMP! I have a feeling I'll be exhaustipeited tonight as well. Ahhh, a Shar Pei's work is never done.

Happy Father's Day!
So I'm taking a break from cuddling Mom to talk about Father's Day! I'd be cuddling Dad but he had to go into work to finish something. I did cuddle up to him all night though, that counts.
So yesterday we all went over to my Great-Gran's to see Grandpaw and Granny. I got to give Daddy my undeniabley cute puppy dog face - just because I love him so much.
I also got a chance to wish my Bionic Grandpaw a Happy Father's Day. He was very happy to see me.
I just need a picture of Grandad and I cuddling. Grandad, I'm all ready when you are! C'mon over anytime!
Happy Father's Day!

Thinking Thursday
Mom has me practicing this trick.
Push The Door.
OK, there, happy now? How come it doesn't work when I push it from the other side, I haven't figured out yet.
I think it's going to be a dull day around here gang. Everyone grab a piece of floor and take a snooze. Mom says tomorrow will be exciting, but she won't tell me WHY. Anyone want to guess?

Teaching Tuesday!
EDIT: Thanks Tom for noticing that I had put Thursday instead of Tuesday. I'm going to blame my lack of treats in making my brain go flaky on the days of the week. -B-
My good pals at TN Bull Terrors suggested that I should start a Snoopervising School, since I'm so Adept at it. Snoopervisor of the world since it was flat you know.
So anyone who is interested, I think in the first lesson is you need to learn how to watch things.
Keep your eyes open for this exercise. Part 2 will be watching with your eyes closed, but I don't want you to get too far ahead. So watch everything, your people are great to practice on. So is everything that happens outside your window. We'll discuss watching outside the window in Lesson 2.
For those that want to, there is optional homework. Send me pictures of you practicing your open eyes watching. I can be reached at bolo (at) magma (dot) ca
I think I'll get Mom and Dad to make me a little badge to hand out to those who complete all the lessons. Yeah. That sounds fun.
Sniff ya later!
Pei-Ess, I have to keep an eye on Mom today, I need to keep reviewing my treats and she needs to dig that silly camera out so I can blog about it!

Monday Morning Report
As you can see it was another busy weekend Snoopervising everything. I found the best place in the world to snoopervise both of THEM at the same time.
I also helped Dad mow the lawn in the backyard and Mom put together some Ikea furniture in the other room. I think there was an ice cream run in there too. That's about it. Plans for today, nap, look out my window, see if I can mooch more cookies off of Mom - I bet you I can! I still have more special treats so I need Mom to take pictures for Treaty Tuesday tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll conserve energy and snoopervise.

Thank You Thursday
So I have a bunch of people to thank today. Kiko is apparently a regular reader of my blog and passed on TWO awards for me!
Thank you Kiko! And thanks for snuffling along with me! I'm going to have to think about who I want to pass these on to. Wait, no I won't. I'm passing them to everyone! So grab it if you want it!
A while ago Mom signed us up for a Dog Swap at some really nice lady's blog here. Nice Lady is a friend of TN Bull Terrors Mom Angie. Dog Toys only, no matter how many people want to kiss my nose, I'm not being mailed anywhere! So our partners were a pair of Chihuahuas in Oklahoma City named Tzeitel and Belicia at www.pinkchihuahuaprincess.blogspot.com.
I got my box from them the day before yesterday but Mom wanted to mail their box before I opened mine. She did that yesterday at lunch. She's apparently a bit of a slacker when I don't push. Sigh.
First thing, of course, is to do a sniff test. Yup, smells good! Then you have to get Mom to open it.
OOO! Rope! I needed a new rope!
Mmmmm. Treats! I haven't had this kind before. Are they good?
Lamb treats! Open the bag! Open the bag! Where did you ladies find the big bag? We can only get the little one.
A collar leash thing! Cool! Take me out now Mom, I want to see if I can slip out of it. Pei laughter.
Wow, you packed all of that into a tiny box? Way cool! Thank you Tzeitel and Belicia and your Mom! I hope you like what we sent. I apologize for my slacker Mom not getting it out earlier.
And a big thank you and Nose Kisses to Nice Lady who organized the swap.

Tuesday
Even I had to give a snort at this picture. Don't worry, Dad's not hurting me.
Sorry we're late posting, Mom had to go to a see a Lab about needles. I don't know any labradors who are allowed to play with needles. Do you?
Anyway, I have to give her super extra cuddles now because her arms hurts. I'll have to make sure to kiss it and make it better.
The rest of the week is going to be busy. I got a box yesterday that Mom hasn't let me open yet because she wants to take pictures. That was supposed to be a today thing except for the Lab thing kind of got her distracted. This afternoon then. I'll also have to give you a progress report on the painting of the Other Room. It's 2/3 done. My Dad is an awesome painter. Maybe I can rent him out and we can all travel together, 'cause you know, he works better when I'm snoopervising.
OK, off to cuddle. It's perfect cuddling weather. Rain.

Monday Morning Report
So I've had a busy weekend. There was a LOT of snoopervising. Daddy was painting again. Don't worry, there will be pictures. Mom was talking on the phone a lot - I got to snuffle hello to my Grandad on the phone (that's why I posted a picture that he took of me). It's not the same as the real thing, but it'll have to do. I guess.
I also practiced making Mom and Dad jump around by practicing my barfing dog act. I saw practicing because I never actually brought anything up. I was just making the sound effects. It's kinda funny to see them jump out of bed. Pei laughter.
So, speaking of that picture, it's kind of old. I don't wear that harness anymore. So, uhm, Grandad, when are you coming up to take more picture of me? OH! Mom! Can we go visit them? Then Grandad can take a picture of me cuddling with Grandma on thier sofa! YES! I like that plan! Grandma, are you in?

Bolo's Friday Adventures and Weather Report
It's really nice and sunny here today. I'm going to find myself a sunbeam I think and re-energize. I finally got the review of the Bully Stick and Pig Tail from the dogs of Mom's coworker. Meet Charlie D (not Charlie Daniels, although I would have shared with him, he's very far away). This is what he had to report on the bully stick:
Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom.
I'm going to take that as a sign that it was delicious.
This is Brandy D. She's reporting on the pig tail. Go ahead Brandy:
Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom.
Ok. Consensus is they were delicious. Nice picks Miss Lea! Wish I could had had a taste. Sigh.
Oh well. I'm feeling better than I was yesterday. Mom says I'm full of P&V. I don't know about the Pee, I try and empty everytime she lets me go outside. Not sure what the V is for. Anyway, here's a nose picture to keep you all going for the weekend while I force Mom to take more pictures of me. Oh, and rumour has it there's even MORE snoopervising to do. Sigh. A Shar Pei's work is never done. Sniff ya later!

Ugh
Sorry there's no picture, I'm not feeling very good. Dad said I shouldn't eat bees. He thinks I ate one because there were bee parts left on the back porch yesterday. I've also been throwing up this morning. Oh, and last night. Mom and Dad are a little tired. But Mom gives great cuddles when I'm not feeling good. Sigh. Maybe I can suck somemore out of her. MOM! I need a cuddle!
