Tuesday

It's raining. Blech.

Can someone do something about that? Mom tried, but all we got was a minute without rain so that I could go from the car to the house without getting too wet - until I got under the tree. Then the squirrels made the tree shake and I got wet again. It's been a rough day.

It did start off better than it sounds. Dad woke me up with cuddles. That's one of the best ways to wake up EVER!

OK, Mom says she needs to feed the Puppy so I have to get off the computer so I can go sharking. Pei laughter.

Monday Morning Report

Mom wants me to show you my newest skill.

Mom says I circle the Puppy's highchair looking for food that drops. Or that Puppy throws off. Mom calls it sharking. Isn't the rule that if it falls on the floor it belongs to me? That's what it shows in my handbook.

Not much else to say. It's been rainy and yucky most of the weekend. Rain. Blech.

Mango Madness Monday!

My Good friend Mango is holding a contest to see who is most like him. He and I are pretty much alike. Here, pay attention: (The captions are underneath the pictures.)

I'm an avid gardener. Well, I like to look anyway.

I'm very athletic.

I shun stairs. OK, I don't. I like stairs, I run up and down them like a goof. But I'm doing them so Mango won't have to. Yeah, that's what I'm doing.

I'm kind to stuffies. Hmmm. They cry out to be destuffed. Honestly they do.

I LOVE to ride in the car. I like it even more if Mom lets me ride in the front seat. It doesn't happen often because of the airbag she says. Humph.

I'm kind to my brother. When I have to be.

I'm very helpful around the house. (I helped paint Puppy's room too you know.)

I am a CHAMPION slobberer. (Solidarity in slobber Mango.)

I can take a treat very gently. You won't see it here because the camera wasn't fast enough, but I did take a piece of cereal from Puppy's hand.

I'm incredibly handsome and....

...and I have a VERY expressive face.

And that is why I am most like Mango.

I wanted to write something yesterday but Mom wanted to sleep. Can't argue with that honestly, I was cuddled up next to her. Now I'm on the laptop as we're having a couch cuddle. Puppy is asleep and Mom doesn't want to get the camera. Pfft.

Monday Report

Well, I must say my birthday was pretty good. Except for the rain. That meant that we couldn't go on a hike like Mom wanted to. She promised me one later this week. With pictures she says. Cool!

I did get a nice walk this morning. I had to share it with Puppy, but there were plenty of squirrels to chase. It made for an interesting walk for Mom. See, I chased squirrels, Mom chased me and Puppy hung on for dear life in his chariot. Everyone seemed to have a good time, in my opinion anyway.

Here's an old picture, but, you know, I don't want anyone to forget what I look like.

So I was able to flip through all the pictures Mom took while I was in Day Camp overnight a while back. Some cute animals. Some not so cute. This one though, doesn't this one look interesting? I feel the urge to chase it. Anyone want to join me?

The first one is me at Granny's garden back at the end of August. I had to snoopervise the picking of tomatoes. I think this orange thing will have to come to our Pumpkin Massacre in November. He should be big enough by then.

Everything will change on Sunday! Sunday September 12 is my Birthday! I will be 5 years old. WOW. That's almost seniorhood for us Shar Peis. Mom wonders if I can get a senior's discount on dogfood. Good point, I should if I'm old enough shouldn't I?

I'm BACK!

I'm BACK!

Did you miss me?

Mom, Dad and Puppy went in one direction last week, and I went to Overnight Day Camp at the PetsHotel. Mom, Puppy, Grandma and Grandad rescued me today. Boy it's nice to be home! I missed THEM so much. Even though I get an awful lot of hugs and cuddles at the Hotel, it's nice to be home with my people. I've had to make sure all my napping places are in tip top shape today. I have NO IDEA where they went. Mom is still playing with the gazillion pictures she brought hom. So far, I've only seen 1 (ONE) of ME. That's so unfair.

In other news, this HUGE rainstorm showed up and Mom FORCED me outside. I refused to go farther than the step. I can hold my pee! I'm not going to pee in the rain! SO THERE!

I have to go and catch up with everyone. Mom and Dad didn't even leave me the laptop last week! HMPH!
