Nosevember 7th!

Ha Ha! The Nose Expose is getting a little harder isn't it? Mua ha ha ha! Evil Pei laughter. Twoday, oo, typo, but how appropriate, today we have TWO guest noses.

Are these:
A. Black Labrador Puppies
B. Golden Labrador Puppies
C. Black and Beige Shar Pei Puppies
D Winston Churchill and Richard Nixon

You won't know WHO they are, because they hadn't been given their forever names yet when this was sent in, but if you guess the breeder, or their Mom (who has a blog) I'll give you the Bonus Point.

I can't say anything exciting has happened around here. Mom and Dad have been doing weird things in front of the tv and making me sit on the couch instead of on the floor so they don't step on me when they're doing those strange movements. Mom said something about We're Fit. What? Oh, Mom says it's a Wii Fit and I'm not allowed on the balance board. Oh yeah, what did you think I did while you were at work yesterday Mom? Ha Ha! Pei laughter. Boy do they ever look stupid playing those games. Sigh. I'm glad I can sleep through it all.

Plans for today, I don't know yet. Cuddles? Ear scratches? An Adventure? All of the above?

Sniff ya later!

Happy Nosevember 6th!

I have a question, why is Blogger loading my pictures up backwards? Pei sighs. Enough about that though, please welcome our special guest nose:

B. Golden Mastiff
C. Golden Doodler
D. Golden Retreiver

And, for a Bonus Point, WHOSE NOSE IS IT!?!?!?!?

I other news, I had to rescue Daddy from work today. You can see I was in a bit of a rush. (Mommy forgot about the Sport setting on her camera, silly Mommy)
And then I spotted him!
DADDY!
A Pei and his Dad. Pei laughter.

Nosevember 5th.

Happy Nosevember 5th!

It seems like I didn't stump a lot of you with yesterday's nose. I'll do better with this one! Please welcome our special guest nose:

So, does this nose belong to:
A. an Albino Airedale
B. a Black and White Foo Dog
C. a West Highland White Terrier
D. a East Highland White Terrier.

And for a Bonus Point, WHOSE NOSE IS IT!?!?!?!?!

Nothing new or exciting at my place I'm sorry to say. I snoopervised the putting away of the Hallowe'en decorations into the shed yesterday. Mom mentioned something about me holding the flashlight, but I was too busy snoopervising to hold the flashlight. Sorry Mom.

I also got to bark at the mailman when he came to the door to deliver a package. I serenaded some squirrels out of the yard, I didn't get nearly enough cuddles - even though I've been part of several Bolo Cuddle Sandwiches recently. But you can never get enough cuddles in my opinion. Pei laughter.

I'd better go and rest up for all of tomorrow's excitement.

Sniff ya later!

Pei-Ess, A big thank you to Charlie Daniels and his TBU for figuring out how I could post this! It's the code for the Nose Expose Button! Nose Kisses for the both of you! So know those of you with Blogger can go to your Dashboard and copy and paste this into an HTML gadget. If you have any problems with it, please let me know.

Nosevember 4th

Happy Nosevember 4th!

I think the last three days have been too easy on you. I'm going to try and kick things up a notch. That being said, here is our special guest nose:

Does this nose belong to a:
A. Chocolate Labrador
B. Chocolate Mousse
C. Chocolate Moose
D. Chocolate Mixed Breed

And, for a BONUS POINT, WHOSE NOSE IS IT?!?!?!

In other news, I went for a walk yesterday.

These are just the leaves in the front yard. Or maybe it was over the sidewalk. No, no that was in the front yard. We hadn't reached the street yet. Boy do I ever look good in those leaves. Mom was waiting for me to find a perfect roaching place, but I'm not a big roacher. It's just not really my thing. Mom thinks that's my dignity showing through. Shar Peis are full of dignity. Which is better then being full of other things let me tell ya! Pei laughter.
The whole purpose of the walk was to mail Birthday Cards! Miss Melissa's birthday is next weekend and Grandma's is later next week. I had considered mailing myself to Grandma to kiss her nose, but we didn't have enough stamps. I'll be posting birthday wishes on the appropriate days and on Miss Melissa's birthday I'm planning to showcase her favorite breed of dog. So stay tuned for that!

And then I'm adding this picture just because. My nose is feeling a little left out, seeing as how I'm show casing other noses, it thinks it has lost it's fan club. I hope not.

I'm kind of at a loss of how to get the Nose Expose Button to you. Charlie Daniels and his TBU suggested a few HTML tags and that didn't seem to work. Shar Pei Sighs. Guess I'll email it out. That DID work. Grr to Blogger for making this hard for me. So, who wants a Nose Expose Button?

Not sure what Mom has planned for today. A game of chase maybe? Ear scratches? Cuddles? Tag Team Napping? I'll keep you updated.

Sniff ya later!

Nosevember 3rd & Monday Morning Report

It is Nosevember 3rd! I spent yesterday resting up after all the excitement. And playing with Noses. We've got a few more. YAY! Remember it's bolo at magma dot ca if you still haven't sent in your nose picture and you want to participate. So, on to our third nose.

For one point, this nose belong to a:
A. Kelpie
B. Kangaroo Dog
C. Heeler Cross (Red)
D. Heeler In a Pretty Good Mood (Red)

And for a bonus point, WHOSE NOSE IS IT?!?!?

I have the HTML code for the Nose Expose button, you can see it on the right, but I'm not sure how I can put it in this post without getting an error message. Maybe I'll just email it out. I can do that. I'm good at email. Any one else have any suggestions?

I don't think I have much more to say for my Monday Morning Report, which is too bad since I normally do. Maybe I'd better go snoopervise my Mom. She must be doing SOMETHING interesting. Even if she isn't, maybe I can get some ear scratches. A chin rub, tail scratch? Oh yeah, gotta go find Mom!

Sniff ya later!

Pei-Ess, Thank you Uncle Marty for upgrading your server so I can put oodles more pictures on it! Nose Kisses! Pei laughter.

Nosevember 2 & The Pumpkin Massacre

Hmm, I'm wondering if I made yesterday's nose too easy. Or maybe I'm lulling you all into a false sense of security. Mua ha ha ha! Evil Pei laughter.

Please welcome our second nose.
Does this nose belong to:
A. English Springer Spaniel
B. Jerry Springer Spaniel
C. Irish Water Spaniel
D. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

For a Bonus Point, WHOSE NOSE IS IT?!?!?!

In other news, I'm giving Mom genius status! She's figured out how to do a button with HTML Code! YAY Mom! I was going to offer you the code for the Nose Expose Participant Button but when I went to load the picture, Uncle Marty's server was down (that's where I keep my pictures). I'll get that up either later today or Monday. Look for more info on that to come.

Thank you Charlie for offering to help. If we run into any problems you might be hearing from us, but we're good right now. Ruby, thanks for pointing us to the DWB page with the directions.

Ok, on to the important bit! The PUMPKIN MASSACRE!

This is a yearly tradition for Daddy's Swordfighting class, going on almost five years I think. After Hallowe'en, they have what is called a sharps event, meaning, this is cutting practice for the sharp swords, as opposed to the not sharp ones they normally use for practice. Dad is really good with his swords.
That's him there. He just sliced a small pumpkin out of the air. You can see it in line with his ear, in two pieces.

And now, in a very rare picture, especially since it's from her camera, Mommy also did some cutting practice

That's her there. Shhhhh, don't tell her I posted her picture. It's a surprise. That was a great cut though, you can see the top of the pumpkin is sliding off the bottom. Well done Mom!

And all the orange fleshy corpses? They went into the compost pile. Auntie Brenda thinks that all the raccoons in the neighbourhood will be over to party this weekend. Pei sighs, Booker would have loved that.

We made a huge dent in the original pumpkin army, but around the time that I started to get cold, a second wave of them came in (someone else brought in a truck load). It would have been nice to stay for more, but I was cold and I think we were all tired. We've worked hard this weekend. Time to rest.

Tune back in tomorrow for another nose and more adventures!

Sniff ya later!

Nosevember 1st & Hallowe'en Adventures!

Hello and Welcome to Nosevember 1st!

This means it's the start of the Nosevember Nose Expose! Lets get thing started right away, and here is our first nose.

For One point, answer the following question. Does this nose belong to a:
A - Beagle
B - Bernese Mountain Dog
C- Peigle (Shar Pei Beagle Cross)
D- Shar Pei

For a BONUS POINT, WHOSE NOSE IS IT?

You can leave the answer as a comment of pm me at bolo at magma dot ca.

On to my Hallowe'en Adventures!

I know you saw the daylight pictures yesterday, but here are a few night shots. You can almost see my kennel there at the back.

Here's a close up of me. I really scared a few people. Some of the younglings were a little unappreciative of all Daddy's work to decorate, and then they screamed when they saw movement in my kennel and didn't see a cause for it. Silly younglings. Mom says I was a bit of a show stealer. Sorry Daddy!
Today is another busy day. We are going to the Pumpkin Massacre. Apparently they're invading and Daddy's Swordfighting Class will be defending us against them. I have to go cheer them on.

Anyway, I was basically napless yesterday so I'm going to rest up a bit before we leave.

Sniff ya later!
