Teaching Tuesday!

Happy Teaching Tuesday everyone! I'm afraid to say I'm a little behind in my lesson plan as I had to supper cuddle Mom last night. She came home needing cuddles so I was elected to give them to her. Anyway, I'll be back on track next week. But for now, let me show you the homework assignments that you've been handing in. It seems like everyone has this Snoopervisory stuff down REALLY well.

Meet Rocky from www.lacylulu.blogspot.com . Look at that technique, and use of stationary objects (the chair). Well done Rocky!

And Mona, of Mona and the Mommy Fame. Great job of snoopervising with the old IN YOUR FACE technique. You're getting a head of the class, that's an advanced lesson!

This is Mariah, one of Chloe Shar Pei's roommates/sister/daughter, I'm not sure of the relationship and a gentleman pei doesn't ask you know. The technique she's using is unique to Shar Pei's. You really can't see her eyes but she's looking right at you! Well done Mariah!

And the great tandem Snoopervising as demonstrated by the Great Mango Relentlessly Huge and Dexter "Pee-Wee" in the Dark. That's a tough manouver guys, and you make it look so easy.

This is Dakota, another of Chloe's sibs/roommates/children. This is a variation on Mariah's technique from earlier. You can see Dakota's eyes, but you think they're looking forward. They're not! They're watching YOU! This technique is not just a Shar Pei technique. I've seen other doggies use this one as well. Nice job Dakota!

And then there's me! I've learned from experience that I shouldn't leave you without a picture of myself. My Nose Fan Club just gets upset.

Oh, as an adendum to yesterday's post and comments, my pal Dozer said with all my bling I should be getting lots of "gurls". Well, I'm sorry ladies, I can be your friend, your buddy, you pal, but I can't be your sweetheart. My heart belongs to Mom.

Sniff ya later!

Monday Morning Report

Happy Monday Morning. Or as happy as it can be. It's raining here so I'm kind of blah. Dad did take me for a nice walk this morning while Mom went to get subs.

I had a fairly busy weekend, as I'm sure we all did. A lot of snoopervising was done by me, but there were also a few adventures. One of them was to BOTH pet stores on Saturday morning. See, Mom and I read that Dozer got some bling. I'm not sure what bling is but Mom apparently knows and she found some for me! (Check out the new poop bag holder behind it too!)

What do you think? It's on my leash right now, which I'm ok with, I mean, I don't want to ruin my handsome cuteness with too much bling now do I? Of course not!
There's a better look at the bling. Except Mom, the Shar Pei is out of focus!

Here's a better looking Shar Pei anyway. Pei laughter.
That's about all the excitement for now. DId I mention it was raining? Yeah. OH, and I guess I don't need to introduce you all to A/C (see Friday's Post) it seems you all know him! Pei Laughter.

Sniff ya later!

Pei-Ess - I want to wish my good friend Tom, and his two sisters Tama-chan and Sei-chan a happy blogoversay!

Bolo's Friday Weather Report and Other Adventures

It's hot and sunny today. I'm staying inside. Mom and Dad have what they call A/C. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm going to stay inside with it. Maybe try and find it and be friends with it. Because I'm just that kind of pei.

No major adventures yet this morning, although I heard Mom and Dad planning one for me tomorrow.

For now, let's all grab a nap and wait for cooler weather. Maybe I can introduce you all to my new friend A/C by then.

Sniff ya later!

Thankful Thursday!

First of all, I'd like to thank Chloe at Pei All The Wei for this lovely award! If you haven't met her yet, she's a Shar Pei who lives with her Mom and Dad and 5 OTHER SHAR PEIS! Can you imagine the cuteness in that house?!?!?!

Apparently there are rules to this award:
Post it to the blog and link to who gave it to you.
Choose 5 life situations that could be repeated in slow motion and explain why.
List twelve blogs and let them know you've given them the award.

OK, yeah yeah, whatever. So, 5 life situations which could be repeated in slow motion:
  1. Nose kisses - to Mom or Dad or Grandma, Grandad, Uncle Marty, Uncle Brett, whoever really, I know they'll all appreciate nose kisses from me.
  2. Visiting friends! I haven't met any of you but I think that's something that could be done in slow motion! Can you imagine all the pei-ness if Chloe and her family, ViVi, Laney and I were all in the same room? It would be a cute overload!
  3. Adventures. They're fun in fast forward too.
  4. Cuddle Sandwiches - These are best done at slow speed so everyone can appriciate them more, especially the person in the middle - which is usually me! Pei laughter.
  5. I can't think of a number 5. Sigh. OH! Snoopervising! I can snoopervise in slow motion!
OK, that's it. As for sharing, well, I think everyones blog is wonderful, so grab it if you want it! (I don't believe there should be limits on how many people can have awards, that's not chivalrous.)

OK, something else to be thankful for! Thank you MOM for taking me on a nose adventure this morning! A NOSEVENTURE! What do you think? Does it work?

So Mom said we were tkaing Daddy to work but he wasn't in the car with us. We stopped at the yummy smelling donut place and I watched Mommy get coffee and donuts, still no Daddy. Then we went to Daddy's office and THERE HE WAS! Not really sure how that happened. (Mom here, Dad rode his bike to work and we brought him breakfast. Is that love or what?) Get your own blog Mom! Sheesh. So we gave Daddy his breakfast and the donuts for his friends and Mom let me sniff around. We saw a HUGE squirrel sitting just outside his hole in the ground! (Mom: Groundhog, not squirrel) MOM! Sheesh. So I got to do this:

Lucky me! Now we're at home cooling off a little bit. It's a little warmer than we like it outside. I think I'll nap today and dream about more Noseventures!

Wordless / Whispering Wednesday

It was delicious.

Sniff ya later!

Pei-Ess - Mom says Grandma and Grandad (her parents) are celebrating their 39th's wedding anniversary today - whatever that is. What? Oh, it's a day to celebrate cuddling Mom says! I'm there if you need me to help you cuddle Grandma and Grandad!

Teaching Tuesday!

I'm almost too exhaustipeitated to write. I had such a good time at Day Camp yesterday and they gave me so many walks and cuddles and snuffles it was tough just to come home. Then this morning Mom and I drove Dad to work and then walked him to another building to give a presentation. It'll be a great presentation because I gave him a pep talk the whole way there!

OK, back to Teaching Tuesday! (Look Tom, I put the right day of the week today!) This is where I teach how to be a great snoopervisor. I'd like to thank Dakota, Mariah and Mona for sending in some GREAT snoopervisor-ing pictures of themselves.

So, here's Lesson 2. Lesson 1, for those who forgot, was to pay close attention and watch everyone. Lesson 2, be prepared to go out of your way to watch. Especially your people, they seem to get into the most interesting places. Here are a few examples.

Ok! Optional Homework! Send your pics to bolo(at)magma(dot)ca if you're in an interesting position watching something!

Now excuse me, I have to nap to have enough energy for my morning snooze.

Sniff ya later!

Monday Morning Report

I have to write an early report because Mom says we have to get a wiggle on this morning. I dont' know about you, but I'm always wiggly.

So you know that we went to Great-Gran's on Saturday night to celebrate Father's Day. Well, I wasn't the only puppy there. You remember my cousin Tia right? The mini-Schnauzer?

Yeah, she'd had a busy day snoopervising a garage sale.

Also there was a cousin I had never met before. He's old and in a bit of pain so I wasn't allowed to play with him, but this is Stokey. Also a mini-Schnauzer.
So I was a good boy and stayed in my kennel during supper and then outside with Dad and Grandpaw after supper. It wasn't all about sitting quietly though. I did have to take Granny for a walk.
We invited Tia too and Stokey went out as well (Mom just didn't get a picture of it.) When we came back from our walk, I went over to see Mom who was sitting next to Great-Gran and I started to get up on the sofa. Mom and Dad had to laugh at me because I was standing with my front feet on the backrest and my back feet on the seat cushion. Mom stood up to get a better look at me and I jumped down and curled up on her spot! Dad and I were laughing so hard! Mom gave me a kiss and let me stay there next to my Great-Gran. Well hey! Everyone else had a chance to sit next to her, I wanted one too!

I came home exhaustipeited. Then on Sunday, I cuddled Mommy ALL DAY. We even napped together. It was beautiful. Mom says I'm a HUGE cuddle Pig. HUGE.

I heard there was more excitement for today! Mom's not ready to leave the house yet, but she grabbed up my lunchbox to fill it! You know what that means! DAY CAMP! I have a feeling I'll be exhaustipeited tonight as well. Ahhh, a Shar Pei's work is never done.

Sniff ya later!
