My Tuesday Adventure

Don't I look pawesome there?

Yeah, I do.

Well, I had an Adventure today.  I had to go to the V-E-T.  I've been having some...uhm...issues.

Anyway, off we went to the V-E-T.  I like my vets very much, they're fantastic ladies and the Vet Techs and Reception ladies are just so wonderful to me and give me oodles of kisses and lovin' so I don't mind going there.  Well today, one of those lovely med techs tried to steal my pee!  What a weird feeling to have someone following you to steal pee!  I kept turning around to see what she was doing,

Finally my lovely vet came to get me.  She gives good kisses.  I like her.  Until it was time to get my temperature taken.  Yeah, 'nuff said about THAT!

Apparently, I have crystals in my urine.  Not good, but the Vet said I'd have to be good friends with Ann T Biotics for the next 21 days and that Mom and Dad would have to feed me wet food and with added water so that I can get all those crystals out.

I go back to see the lovely vet ladies in 2 weeks.  I hope I get a few more kisses.

In other news, I want to introduce you to a friend of my Mom's.

Meet Audio.

He's a Jack Russell Terror.  Uhm, Terrier.  Sorry, Freudian slip.  He's learning to be a set of ears for his mom,  Ms. E, who is a coworker of my Mom's. Good luck Audio and Ms. E!

That's my news!

Wednesday's Weekly Wrap Up

More cold equals less walkies for this Pei.  Mom and Dad do make sure I go out to do my business but who wants to stay outside in freezing rain, or -30 something windchill.  NOT ME that's for sure!

I did have one nice adventure this week.

Miss Jenn came to see me.  She's been my friend for ever so long and she gives great ear scratches.  Sigh.  She's one of my favorite people, outside my immediate family.  Anyway, Mom finally got a good picture of us and Miss Jenn said it was ok to post it.

She needed those nose kisses.  I could tell.  Then of course I had to be a gentlepei and help Mom drive her home.  Well wouldn't you know it, when we got to her house there was a C-A-T in her driveway so I had to bark and bay and howl to scare it away so Miss Jenn could go into her house without being attacked by the C-A-T.  (It was an unknown C-A-T, any of my cat blog friends I would trust with Miss Jenn, but not just any cat you understand.)  I don't think Mom appreciated my ferocity.  She was complaining about my yelling in her ear the whole way home.  Sometimes I don't think she understands me.  Sigh.

That's about all my news.  Looking after Mom, Dad and Puppy for the most part.  It's a tough job but somepuppy has to do it, right?  Everyone stay warm if you're in winter and stay cool if you're in summer!

Wednesday's Weekly Update

Sorry for the old picture, but Mom's computer isn't back from being fixed yet.  They're saying end of this week.  I'll believe it when I see it.

My days have been full of naps, eating and short trips outside in the freezing cold.  We actually hit a low of -30 with the windchill this week and Mom says at that temperature it doesn't matter if it's Celsius or Fahrenheit it's freaking cold - especially for a little Bolo Pei and his Puppy.

I hope everyone is doing good.  We are reading blogs and Facebook updates, but I can't help but feel I'm missing a few things.  Mom said maybe I'm having a Senior Moment.  I am almost a senior doggy you know.  Hard to imagine, I feel so young.

Wordy Wednesday

For those of you who don't know, this is my Puppy.

He's a good Puppy for the most part and I have very good reason to be very proud of my influence over him.  Mom says he's been a little slow in picking up speaking.  I understand him just fine, but  Mom can be a bit of a worrywart sometimes apparently.  Anyway, I've been helping teach Puppy to speak.  Mom only thinks I've been barking at squirrels but I've been teaching Puppy.  Mom thinks certain TV shows might help (among other things we're doing).  Puppy's favorite one is something called Word World.  I enjoy this show very much too because one of the main characters is a Dog.

Between my hard work, and the Dog on tv, Puppy has come out with his first three letters.  Dee....Oh....Geee.

My Puppy is a genius.

I really don't know what Mom is worried about.

End of Year Report

Well, I think it's been a good year, minus all the Rainbow Bridge crossings, we could have done with less of those.  But on the whole, a good year.

This last week or so has been busy for me.  Mom's new computer died, so she hasn't had a chance to even LOOK at the pictures she took at Christmas.  Then she got sick, she's getting better but now Dad is sick and we're all hoping Puppy doesn't get sick because that would just NOT be fun for anyone.

So while I have a minute to catch up with everyones blogs that I've missed I will say Hap-Pei New Year!  May it be full of ear scratches, good noms and lots of loving!

Tumultuous Tuesday

I woke up this morning and felt there was something missing.

GASP!  Someone stole my sofa!

I'm very worried Mom.

What will I lounge on?!?!  Where will I curl up while everyone is eating food and not giving me any?!?!?

What?  Not to worry?  There's another one on the way?
Is that why I'm stuck in the stairs?

Well hey!  Would you look at that!

Wow.  Good colour choice Mom.  I can blend in here.
Dad, your foot is encroaching on my cushion space.

Well I'm glad that was nothing to worry about.  It made for some excitement during the day because I -of course- had to bark and defend my house when these two guys brought in my new sofa.  That's my job you know.

And then Mom took me to get my nails trimmed.  Go figure.

Pei-Ess, look for my Christmas Card being sent out soon!  I have given final approval on it!

For those of you who think that I don't like my Puppy, you'd be wrong.  Yeah, sometimes he bothers me - like when he thinks he wants to pull my tail and I have to say I don't think so!  But for the most part he's a pretty good little guy.  He usually lets me sample whatever he happens to have at mealtimes, this is the basis of a good brofur relationship in my opinion.

Mom finally has evidence that we're conspiring against her though.  I told Puppy we had to keep these discussions a SECRET.  Obviously, he hasn't learned what secret means.  I'll have to work on that with him.

And he took notes.  Dad says one of the first rules of conspiracy is to never write anything down.  Silly Puppy.
