Tuesday Tales

I'm still exhaustipeited and recovering!  Today is my day of rest.

Yesterday started out FUN.  I went out for my morning patrol and discovered squirrels!  Now I've got a friend at The Poupounette called Bibi-Chan.  He often does a Houbibi act and just WHOOSH escapes for a while.  Well, I took his example and I did a Hou-Bolo!  Whoosh!  Right out the gate after those squirrels.

I don't think Mom was too happy because she started yelling at Dad to come down and help.  The more the merrier to get those squirrels right!?!?

I got home ok.  I wasn't all that far away and Mom asked nicely if I would just go home and I did.  Sometimes you have to do nice stuff for your Mom, did you know that?

Anyway, I think Mom was getting back at me this evening when she took me out for a walk.  First she was putting on her shoes, not her sandals.  I'm going to make a note of this.  Those shoes are not nice shoes.  Then we started walking.  But Mom wouldn't let me stop too long to sniff things and she barely stopped moving when I did my duty.  The she started running and I had to keep up with her!  WOAH!

She said to tell everyone she's learning to run.  I don't know why she needs to learn, I know how to run, doesn't everyone?  Anyway, apparently I'm her training partner.  I did get a nice dose of pain killer when we got back because I was limping.  Horrors, Mom wasn't.  Sigh.  I'm going to have to learn to run with her aren't I?  I can't have her outdistance me.

Sniff ya later!

Yikes! It must be a LOT cooler where you live than it is here. Not even the peeps could run for long in our heat, and it would kill a doggie for sure. The limping is a good ploy; don't forget to pant a lot, too. And if you really get tired of the new routine, try whining all night. Peeps just love that.
