Bolo's Friday Weather Report and Other Adventures

Welcome to Bolo's Friday Weather Report! As you can see, it's going to be a beautiful day. Those clouds there are morning clouds. The disappear as the day progresses. Kind of like the eye gookies I get in the morning. Mommy wipes them away and I'm fine.

Speaking of Mommy, today is her birthday! Happy Birthday Mommy! I hope you like the toaster I got you! Yes, I got my Mom a toaster. Yesterday morning, while I was still sleeping, Mommy made herself a waffle. Or she tried to anyway. It burned the waffles (she had it set at the lightest setting) and set off the smoke detector, at some REALLY EARLY-IT WAS STILL DARK OUT time. That woke me up. So Daddy and I had a chat and I gave him nose kisses and he went and got her a new toaster. He also got her some DVD's and roses. She's spoiled.

In other news, Mommy says we're having company this weekend! Oh BOY! Someone new to investigate! I also heard something about Mommy's birthday party and everyone coming over to play with the Wii. Which means they'll all be my captive audience in the rec room and I can mooch cuddles from all sorts of people! This is going to be a great weekend!

Oh, I'd better remind Mommy to give me my medicine.

And finally, Mommy took this AMAZING Happy Shar Pei picture (before my Frakenpuppy look). We had to share. It's Daddy's Favorite Picture. I'm going to encourage Mom to get it printed in a poster size so it can take over the wall downstairs in the living room. It makes her smile everytime she sees it.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Adendum, or, this one kind of was my fault.

Hi every puppy and kitty and person.

You know that magic list I was on? Yeah, it WAS for Day Camp. I kind of had fun. Made a few new friends, but Hurricane and I just couldn't get along. He's a yellow lab. Very rambunctious. Good for him. But we just didn't hit it off, you know?

So after lunch, when we met again, I kind of picked a fight with him. I should have known better because I got the worst of it. All he got was a scratch on the nose. I got stitches.

Three spot on my right side and one spot on my left. I don't know if I should be worried about my nose kissability, but I'm a little tired from all the excitement and the anesthetics. Oh wow, I got that word out, I wasn't sure I'd be able to.

Anyway, I want to apologize to Hurricane and his pawrents. Sorry. My Mom apparently wasn't too happy when she found out what I did. Neither was Daddy. I'm sure we'll have a chat when I'm conscious again.

I also want to thank Cindy and Sophie (I think Sophie was her name) and The Man (whose name I must have heard, and he was wearing a name tag, I just don't remember it) and everyone else who took care of me. Sophie and The Man took me to the Vet. Sophie held me the whole time. I think she needed the cuddle more than I did. But it was nice to have someone with me. Cindy gave me oddles of cuddles when we went back to pick up my lunchbox.

In good news, I am allowed back, but Mommy said I'd only go one on one. Which should be nice because I'll get more cuddles and attention that way.

Sniff ya later everyone. I'm going back to sleep.

The Nose Report

Welcome back to The Nose Report, I'm your Report Pei, Bolo, ready for action!

Our first guest today is the American Alligator. He certainly does have a nose. But he's been known to eat doggies and kitties so I don't think anyone has to go over to kiss his nose. We'll leave that for the other alligators to do okay?
Meet the Peahen (up) and the Peacock (down). They were walking around the place where Mommy and Daddy had lunch and were investigating all the children around. Tiny little noses, but very friendly. They could do with nose kisses.

Meet the Masai Giraffe. They're VERY TALL. If it brought it's nose down closer, we could all give it kisses. If it stood up, it's out of luck. I think, for nose kisses, it would bend down.

And our last guest for today is the Caracal Lynx. You can just see it there behind the log in the foreground and next to the rock on the right. The Caracal Lynx is not know for it's nose, but I'm sure we could sneak a peck in while we distracted it with ear scratches.

Thene there's this guy again. Pei laughter. He looks like he's ready to go somewhere. Like somewhere they have a Magic List? Can I take a guess? Is Report Pei Bolo on his way to Day Camp? OhpleaseOhpleaseOhpleaseOhplease. Please let it be Day Camp!

This is Report Pei Bolo signing off until next time.

It wasn't my fault.

First of all, I'd like to say that it wasn't my fault.

Mommy was the one who left the bag from our shopping trip, to the Pet Store yesterday, on the floor. I merely took advantage of the opportunity.

Which of you would say they'd have done differently? Hmm? It's just too bad I only got through 1/3 of the Rollover before they spotted it.

In other news, I know I've bumped the Nose Report, I'll see about posting that tomorrow. Sorry about that. I just needed to get my story out, you know how it is eh? Oh, Mommy also said I'm on the magic list for tomorrow. Anyone have any ideas what a magic list is? Or what it's for?

I'm off to digest.

Monday Morning Report

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Monday Morning Report!

I apologize for not blogging over the weekend, but I was busy! I even got a chance to help Daddy nap! For 3 HOURS! Phew! That was a tough one. I spent some time curled up behind his knees, and then stretched out on Mommy's side of the bed, a bit of time with my head on his foot. Mommy didn't take pictures, something to do with the flash waking him up. Funny she doesn't mind using the flash on me when I'm "sleeping". But then, I'm a Pei-fessional model. Pei laughter.
So I did some looking out over my backyard, until Mommy called me to take a picture.
I watched Daddy eat his lunch, to make sure he didn't choke on anything.

I hid in the garden for a bit. If it weren't for my collar, I could have blended into the fence. Darn it.
And then someone mentioned ADVENTURE! So I made sure to let them know I was ready for action!

Are you coming?

Bolo's Friday Weather Report and Other Adventures

Good morning evening and afternoon! Welcome to Bolo's Friday Weather Report and Other Adventures. Our weather today is Foggy. I'm hoping the sun will burn through the fog and grey clouds, but it's not looking good. So I'm posting a picture of me in the sun. This is how it should be everyday. Not too warm, not too cold, a nice sun beam, a nice breeze and a good yawn. Oh, and a cookie or five wouldn't be so bad either! Pei laughter.

Thank you to everyone yesterday who cheered me up. It's nice to be loved. Pei kisses to all of you.

So I had an adventure this morning to take Daddy to work. We stopped at the donut shop to get coffee and a breakfast sandwhich. Oh andDaddy got Mommy a cookie. It was me and a small field of potentillas (which is about the only shrub Mommy knows the name for). I made sure to leave a lot of pee-mail. Mommy and I came home and we had cookies together. That's Love. Mine was a honey bone. Num num. It was DEEEE-Licious! I'm pretty sure they'll be another adventure this afternoon because I'm going to have to go and RESCUE Daddy from work. It's a tough job but somepuppy has to do it.

Mommy also mentioned that I need more rollover, so I think there's a trip to the pet store in store for us. Oh boy! I can't wait!

Thursday

Hello all. I'm sorry I didn't write yesterday but I was feeling a little not myself. See, after a great walk with Mom in the morning and a wonderful nap, I kind of, well, had an accident. That's so not like me but you know when you get REALLY excited and you have to piddle? Yeah. On Mommy's side of the bed. At least it wasn't on her pillow. But then, I don't get to play with pillows anymore after I killed the last four by destuffing them. Pei sigh.

I apologized but I just wasn't feeling up to writing. Even today I'm being subdude. I know Mommy and Daddy aren't blaming me but my self-esteem took a dive yesterday. You know how it is eh?

Anyway, I'm not feeling chatty, sorry. I'll read everyone's blogs and then go back for a nap. Or maybe I can give Mom my face to cuddle and she'll take me out for an adventure. Even if it's just a little one.

Pei sighs.

Sniff ya later.
