Thinking and Thanking Thursday

I've posted my Thinking Face today.

My cousin Keiko Cat has crossed the Bridge. I'm disappointed because this is the only picture Mom could find of her in our collection.
She was with Uncle Brett for 16 years, and she was probably closer to 20 years old or so all told. Aunt Angela said it was Cancer that finally got her. Is there anyway we can Power of the Paw all the cancer away from the world? Is that pawsible?

Pei Sigh. I want to thank Miss Jenn for coming over today to give me ear scratches. That was so nice Miss Jenn. I also have to thank Uncle Marty and Aunt Sharon. I know who sent that football! And the cookies! (More on the cookies later).

I'm going to think some more.

Monday Mix-Up

Mom and Puppy went out yesterday and they both came back smelling like this:

That's Khaya. Yeah, she was giving Khaya the ear scratches that were meant for ME! I'm very upset.

They did kind of make up for it by taking me on TWO noseventures yesterday. One with Dad to something called a Fruit Stand. Oh, the smells! The smells! And the other to something called Dairy Queen. Dairy Queen has a really nice walking area. I left lots of pee-mail.

What do you think? Does that look like an evil glint in my eye?

Photo Friday!

Ha Ha! Fooled you! That's not me. That's my cousin Khaya. She's a Portuguese Water Dog. She's also a bit of a goof. As if you couldn't tell. We had some very nice visits while I was over at her house last week. We weren't allowed to do much rough and tumble playing because Puppy was on the floor. Oh well. We still had fun.

I've been really busy this week taking care of Mom and Puppy. Apparently there is some excitement planned for next week though. I'm looking forward to it!

And just so you don't forget what I look like, here I am in classic Frootbat Friday pose!

Have a great weekend!

Wonderful Wednesday!

I had to share this. While we were off gallivanting at Granny and Bionic Granpa's house, my Grandad went and found me my own plane!

Is that cool or WHAT! (Photo by Grandad BTW) Of course Uncle Marty will be my pilot.

I'm not quite sure how many of my friends I could sneak in there though. We'll have to investigate.

To keep you all going, here's another picture of me being brave.

Special Tuesday

A big Thank you to Grandma and Grandad for taking Puppy out of my hair this afternoon so Mom could help me blog. I appreciate it.

Anyway, today is a special day. It`s my Granny`s Birthday! (Not Grandma who took Puppy, but Granny, who we visited this past week.)

Unfortunately no one happened to get any pictures of ME with the Birthday Granny, but she knows I love her.

While we visited last week we had a chance to celebrate a little early with her, her Mom, and two of her three sisters. I`ll give you the highlights of the day.

The best place to be is under the table.

So that when the cake comes by, you can snag yourself a little nibble.

Cake always falls on the floor you know. The rule is if it falls on the floor it belongs to the Pei. Or dog, whichever applies. Mom says to tell you that I didn`t get a HUGE piece, but the crumbs were good too!

In other news, Puppy offered me his cookie today at lunch. I`m not sure if I should have taken it.

Monday Report

Well, as you may or may not know, I was on vacation last week at Granny and Bionic Grandpa's. They live on a lake - I still wondering why you'd want to live near that much water, but to each their own. The also have a lot of bugs zooming around. A lot of them seem to like my bottom. I didn't appreciate being bitten on my bottom repeatedly and complained about it to Mom. Not much she could do about it though she did try.

Mom said not to bother this little guy because he's doing pest control:

Yeah, it's a frog that lives in Granny's pond fountain thing. More water. Blech. But pest control I can appreciate. Thank you Mr. Frog.

Anyway, Dad and Puppy spent WAY too much time in the thing called The Lake. Shudder. (Mom was smart and stayed on land with me, and not just because her camera isn't waterproof.) All that water. Me, being a Shar Pei, needed to be close, to keep an eye on them. Unfortunately, the only way to be close to them was to be VERY brave and go out on the dock.

See all that water? It's WET! Mom says I'm smiling.

Hmmm. Maybe so but only because I was heading towards land.
