Sorry for the delay!

I have been SO busy today. First I had to huggle Daddy while Mommy was at work because he had missed me. Then I had to huggle MOMMY, because she was back and she missed me. I tell ya.

THEN, and this is the important part, I had to check out the presents that Mommy and Daddy brought me back from their trip! Cookies from Poochini's! The two big bones are from Grandad. Thank you Grandad! I'm saving them for my birthday. (which is on Friday the 12th for anyone that is interested!)
Look what was in that bag! All cookies and all for ME!Here I am trying one of the Peamuttbutter Fly.It was GOOD. Mommy has washed my cookie jar and thrown out the old yucky cookies that I used to chase around the living room floor. While it was a good game, the GOOD cookies are now going into my clean cookie jar! DoG is drying the jar right now so Mommy will take a picture when it's clean and full.

My good friend Mango (Solidarity in Slobbers Mango!) has given me an award! Thanks Mango!
I love reading your blog too! So does Mommy and even Daddy asks how you're doing. Don't you love it when our people take an interest in our lives and our friends? There's all sorts of rules and stuff about moving this along this so I'll play with that on my Monday Morning Report tomorrow. Look for an update then!

Sniff ya later!

Pei-Ess, Thanks to everyones' pawsitive thoughts, Mommy is doing 100 pawcent better! She sends nose kisses and earscratches to everyone in thanks.

I'm back, again.

I'm back from my Adventures.

What a week it's been! I had a lot of fun at Overnight Camp, and did make a comment that I should have been allowed Internet access, but I have to say I'm exhausti-pei-ted. I'll write more tomorrow and include pictures.

I will say that the ice cream was pretty good, I got tons of scratches and cuddles as well as a pedicure (read nail trim). But boy is it ever nice to be home. I'm napping in all my favorite places to make sure that they're all still pei-worthy. So far, they are.

Sniff ya later!

Friday Adventures, NO Weather Report!

You would not BELIEVE how much trouble I went to just to get onto the internet from here!

I'm over nighting at Day Camp. Wait, does that make it night camp? Whatever. Anyway, I had to be super cute and wonderful - which, really, how hard is that for any of us right? - it was finding some time when no one was around and when all the other doggies wouldn't bark and cause a commotion. How come human hotels have free internet access and I have to sneak a way to find some for myself? Something isn't right here.

So anyway, no Friday Weather Report, I'm stuck inside getting cuddled and having people throw things for me to fetch and all that fun stuff. I think I heard something about an ice cream treat? I don't know. We'll see what's up with that.

In other news, I happened to check Mom's email and she placed us on the mailing list at Poochini's Barkery AND, for all those who are temped by dog treats - and honestly, who isn't? - they do mail order! Mommy's email also had something from Grandad saying that they had picked up some more cookies for me as well as some of those nifty bones. I'll have to put a linky on my blog about them. Grandad's email wasn't as descriptive as it could have been. I will have to have words with him next time I see him.

Anyway, sorry there's no picture, I tried getting one from the security cameras here but it's on a separate computer network. Drat. Ack! Someone barked! I'd better get back to my room!

Sniff ya later!

More Adventures?

Mommy and Daddy are up early. That normally means that adventure is afoot.

Oh! Oh! Bags are being packed!

Oh I hope they include me in it! I'm all primed and ready to go!

Oh! Oh! That's my lunchbox! Gotta go, my lunchbox is being packed! Adventure awaits!

Sniff ya later!
Pei-Ess, Mommy is so proud of herself, she ate real food yesterday. So she's starting to feel better. Thanks to everyone for the pawsitive thoughts. We have some great friends. Nose kisses to all of you!

More from my Weekend Adventures, Part 2

It wasn't all being on the dock last weekend you know. We had to have walks too. That's me with Daddy having an Adventure on the road.
Which means that afterwards we had to have a snooze in the closest available sunbeam.
And then another snooze on the covered porch, just to make sure everything was snooze worthy.
And Granny had a new toy for me to take home! As you can see, I appreciate it very much. It's a rope squirrel!

Then on Monday when we came home, and after we had a nap, Grandad showed up! Wheee! I didn't even need to bark at him, he knew it was my house and I could smell something interesting. Do you see what it was? A COOKIE. From a place calle Poochini's Barkery in Newmarket where Grandad lives. Grandad loves me. I can tell. It's a good cookie. I wish Mommy would give me more of it at a time. But they wanted to see if my digestive system could handle it. Of course it did. More please! I have oddles and lots of adventures to take Grandad on. I'm so glad he's here! Another person to mooch cuddles off of!Gotta go! Grandad needs a cuddle! Sniff ya later!

Pei-Ess, Mommy is getting a little better. I'm working hard at getting her ALL better, thanks to everyone for thinking pawsitive thoughts in her direction.

More from my Weekend Adventures

Mommy is still sick so there isn't anything new. I'm looking after her, Daddy and Grandad. It's a big job, but I think I'm up to it. So, since no big adventures appear to be forthcoming, here's pictures from the weekend adventures!
Mommy calls this picture 3 dogs on the dock. The pedal boat I'm standing next to is called the Flying Hippo. In case anyone wanted to know. The blue one over by Khaya doesn't have a name yet.

So Khaya and Tia taught me how to fish. Daddy and Uncle Brett would catch fish in a net and put them in the little pool and Khaya and Tia would scare the little fish out of their tiny little minds. Khaya and Tia thought this was great fun.I'm not sure about the whoel procedure, but I was willing to watch.
That's what the fish look like. It's a sunfish. Daddy says they're the stupidest fish in the lake.
Then Daddy pulled up this turtle. Uncle Brett says it's a musk turtle. He sure has a long neck. He didn't go into the pool for fishing. We just all sniffed him and then Uncle Brett put him back in the water. He'll certainly have a lot to say on his blog when he gets home! Pei laughter.

OK, Mommy's gone to lay down. I'd better go take care of her. Sniff ya later!

I'm back!

I'm back! Did you miss me? Do you see my happy excited face there? Mommy and Daddy surprised me with an ADVENTURE to see Granny and Grandpaw and Tia and Khaya. Uncle Brett was there too! So was his wife Aunt Angela!
The most important news of the weekend would be that I learned how to Lifeguard from Khaya herself. She's a Portugeuse Waterdog. They like the water and they can swim REALLY well.
You have to constantly scan the water to make sure all of your swimmers are safe. That's an important safety tip.And if you're really lucky, Daddy will pop up at the side of the dock! That is you, right Daddy? Yes it is! Hi Daddy!
Another important thing you have to do is go on the dock by yourself, even if you're a little scared, because that will make Mommy so happy. Which she was. She said I was so brave for going out on the dock by myself. But that's where all the excitement was happening! I had to be in on all the excitement!
I also had lots and lots and ooddles of other adventures and apparently I have more in store this week so I'll draw this out for the next few days. My Grandad is here, I have to look after him for a few days. S'excue me if I write and run. Oh, and Mommy is sick, I took really good care of her this morning so I have to continue that this evening.

Sniff ya later!
