Nosevember 2 & The Pumpkin Massacre

Hmm, I'm wondering if I made yesterday's nose too easy. Or maybe I'm lulling you all into a false sense of security. Mua ha ha ha! Evil Pei laughter.

Please welcome our second nose.
Does this nose belong to:
A. English Springer Spaniel
B. Jerry Springer Spaniel
C. Irish Water Spaniel
D. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

For a Bonus Point, WHOSE NOSE IS IT?!?!?!

In other news, I'm giving Mom genius status! She's figured out how to do a button with HTML Code! YAY Mom! I was going to offer you the code for the Nose Expose Participant Button but when I went to load the picture, Uncle Marty's server was down (that's where I keep my pictures). I'll get that up either later today or Monday. Look for more info on that to come.

Thank you Charlie for offering to help. If we run into any problems you might be hearing from us, but we're good right now. Ruby, thanks for pointing us to the DWB page with the directions.

Ok, on to the important bit! The PUMPKIN MASSACRE!

This is a yearly tradition for Daddy's Swordfighting class, going on almost five years I think. After Hallowe'en, they have what is called a sharps event, meaning, this is cutting practice for the sharp swords, as opposed to the not sharp ones they normally use for practice. Dad is really good with his swords.
That's him there. He just sliced a small pumpkin out of the air. You can see it in line with his ear, in two pieces.

And now, in a very rare picture, especially since it's from her camera, Mommy also did some cutting practice

That's her there. Shhhhh, don't tell her I posted her picture. It's a surprise. That was a great cut though, you can see the top of the pumpkin is sliding off the bottom. Well done Mom!

And all the orange fleshy corpses? They went into the compost pile. Auntie Brenda thinks that all the raccoons in the neighbourhood will be over to party this weekend. Pei sighs, Booker would have loved that.

We made a huge dent in the original pumpkin army, but around the time that I started to get cold, a second wave of them came in (someone else brought in a truck load). It would have been nice to stay for more, but I was cold and I think we were all tired. We've worked hard this weekend. Time to rest.

Tune back in tomorrow for another nose and more adventures!

Sniff ya later!

Pippa mentioned you and noses so I came over to see what all the fuss was about. My new brother has one heck of a nose. I wrote about it. Do you think anyone would know what kind of dog he was (or pig)?

I think that must be an English Springer Spaniel nose. No clue whose nose it is, though. Again. Sigh.

Your Mom and Dad are pawsome swordsmen. Ahem, swordspeople. You must feel furry safe!

Brown dog kisses,
Dannan
